With the ratification of new 2023-2025 UNBC Faculty Association Collective Agreement, we are in the midst of transitioning to the new agreement. One component of that transition is the implementation of the new salary grids. Below is the implementation of schedule for salary updates (i.e., placement on the new salary grids) and retroactive payments.

July 28, 2023 Pay Date

• Active Summer Part Time Instructor contracts (41 contracts) will be updated to the new sessional rate effective for this pay and paid the retroactive adjustment from the start date of their contract.

September 8, 2023 Pay Date

• Salary updates to the July 1, 2023 rate for Regular and Term Faculty.

October 20, 2023 Pay Date

• Retroactive pay for July 1, 2022 – June 30, 2023 for Regular and Term Faculty.
• Retroactive pay for July 1, 2023 – August 25, 2023 for Regular and Term Faculty.

November 3, 2023 Pay Date

• Retroactive pay for July 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023 for Part Time Instructors with active jobs in the Fall semester

December 1, 2023 Pay Date

• Retroactive pay for July 1, 2022 – May 31, 2023 for Part Time Instructors with no active job in the Fall semester.
