Why UNBC Residence?

"As an international student, I arrived to UNBC without knowing a single person and two years later I have found a second family. Homesickness has never been an issue because there are plenty of activities that help new residents integrate and accommodate to life on res." - Ana Saenz, UNBC Neyoh Resident

The Experience—Friends for Life

Living in residence is a very special experience and we encourage all of our students to get involved and take advantage of the many opportunities for available to them during their stay at UNBC Residence! Our Residence Life Team develops unique programs that engage students, build community and most importantly give them the chance to meet other residents and have fun.  It is our goal that through our programming model, students are encouraged to be active, informed and responsible members of their residence community.

The Convenience

Convenience is one of the main reasons our students choose to live in the UNBC Residences! Our residences are also unique as they are close to a wonderful 15 KM trail full of wildlife and lush forests. Living in residence, you are close to the library, David Douglas Botanical Garden, and the Northern Sports Centre. Frankly, you are never more than 10 minutes away from your furthest class. Hey, you also don't need to worry about monthly bills and fluctuating gas and heating prices!

The Meal Plan Options

The Residence 7-Day meal plan also provides All-You-Care-to-Eat Meal Plans! Our students also love the variety of our healthy food choices as well as saving time and money by not driving to the grocery store. Eat what you want, and how much you want, when you want!  For more information please click here or email food@unbc.ca.
