Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships (CGS) Doctoral Program

The CIHR Doctoral Research Award, the Frederick Banting and Charles Best Canada Graduate Scholarships Doctoral Awards (CGS-D), has the objectives to provide recognition and funding to students early in their academic research career, providing them with an opportunity to gain research experience, as well as to provide a reliable supply of highly skilled and qualified researchers.

The Office of Graduate Programs requests all information to be submitted by Wednesday, September 26, 2018 in advance of the agency application deadline.  There is no university-level adjudication for these awards; however, applicants must submit their signature pages and a copy of their research proposal to the Office of Graduate Programs for signature by the VP of Research and Graduate Programs.  Note that your sponsors must submit their assessment form 48 hours prior to the institution internal deadline, so please take this into consideration when preparing your application.
