Senate Committee Motion Forms

Most Senate motions dealing with academic program matters go through the Senate Committee on Academic Affairs (SCAAf) or the Senate Committee on Admissions and Degrees (SCAD) prior to being advanced to Senate. Motions containing Aboriginal or First Nations content also need to be reviewed by the Senate Committee on Indigenous Initiatives (SCII) prior to being forwarded to SCAAf or SCAD, so additional time is required for these motions to reach Senate as a result of the monthly meeting schedules for the different Senate committees. A document outlining the Senate motion approval process, including Senate and Senate committee timelines, is accessible at the link below.
