Traditional Culture

In addition to a select resource library of First Nations works, the Centre also hosts regular events steeped in Aboriginal culture and tradition.

The Elder in Residence Program as well as weekly visits from the Metis and Dakelh Elders offer a tangible link to First Nations tradition, identity and history. Furthermore, the Centre regularly holds different workshops, such as beading, button blankets and drum-making.

Regular potlucks present the opportunity for socializing and friendship amidst a variety of traditional and contemporary foods. Potlucks are often held the second Wednesday of every month.
