Hear from UNBC alumni who have ventured into the entrepreneurial world. Discover their journeys, what drives them, and the businesses they've built. Learn what entrepreneurship means in various fields and get inspired by their success stories.- Panelist
- Erika McLean - is a writer and creator of Skanii Athletics, originally from the Gitxsan First Nation in Hazelton, BC. It is through her writing and brand development, McLean learned she can have the most impact in positive social change, particularly for Indigenous peoples. McLean recently launched Skanii Athletics as a vehicle in which to build the narrative of pursuing self-mastery. An alumnus from the Social Work(BSW) and Education Multi-Disciplinary Leadership (M. Ed) programs at UNBC, McLean lives in Prince George. McLean is raising two children, supporting the sport community in whatever ways possible and is a current school board trustee.

Get insights from Community Futures Fraser Fort George, Hubspace, and Women Entrepreneurs of BC (WE BC). Each organization will share valuable resources and support services they offer to budding entrepreneurs and startups. - 6:05 PM - 7:00 PM: Networking
Cap off the evening with a networking session where you can connect with industry professionals, fellow students, and potential mentors. Bring your questions and business cards!

Registration is not required for students, but recommended so you may receive reminders about the upcoming events, which employers will be attending and information on how to prepare.
