These 90-minute online workshops offer opportunities for UNBC instructors to learn about emergent technologies generally referred to as "AI technologies" and explore the impact of these technologies on teaching and learning.

The first workshop 'Teaching, Learning, and AI Technologies: An Introduction' is an introductory workshop exploring generative technologies, chatbots, large language models, and technologies generally referred to as "AI".

This workshop will explore how the technologies work, key terms and definitions, and help promote an understanding of the topic and how it can be used in higher education. Once you know how these generative technologies work, you can make better decisions about when to use it -- or not.
