CTLT Workshop: Adopting and Adapting Peer-Reviewed, Openly Licensed Course Content

Date:
Thursday, May 28, 2020 - 11:00am
Location:
Online
We are all casting our thoughts and efforts towards Fall 2020 and considering online resources for teaching and learning.  The good news for educators, particularly those new to digital teaching & learning formats in particular, is that they do not need to develop their materials from scratch.

Significant foundational material with open licenses across discliplines already exists for adoption in courses. A great deal of misinformation and misperception about open educational resource quality and impact dissuades many from considering these options.

In this session we will explore curated collections that identify high-quality OER via networks of educators that collaborate around their adaptation and evaluation.
