Offered in partnership with the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), these grants provide opportunities for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows in Canada to pursue collaborative research in Japan.

Projects must take place between June 9 and August 19, 2020 (10 weeks).

Application Deadline: November 27, 2019 (5:00 pm PT)

Applications must be submitted to the Office of Research no later than Wednesay November 20, 2019 for institutional signature.  As UNBC will be managing some funds on behalf of Mitacs, please submit your application through Romeo. Please work with your home supervisor to complete this process.
