Presenter: Travis Holyk, Executive Director of Research, Primary Care and Strategic Services at Carrier Sekani Family Services

Synopsis: Dr. Travis Holyk has been involved in Indigenous health and social research for over 20 years. This presentation will weave together personal experiences of research with Carrier and Sekani First Nations communities, focusing on the importance of relationships as a methodology. Specifically, he will highlight efforts in suicide and COPD research as best practices in study design and project outcomes.
