The UNBC MSc Nursing Family Nurse Practition Program requires reliable adults to act as volunteer patients for our advanced health assessment and diagnostic reasoning class (Nursing 603).
Volunteers will not require training and will be oriented to the patient role. Volunteers will act as patients for students to practice health history taking and non-invasive health assessment skills.
All volunteers will be provided with a record of service outlining their role as patients for the MSc Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program and the dates and hours of service provided.
Three afternoon sessions are offered: June 24, 26 and 28 and take place in the Teaching and Learning Building on the Prince George campus.
Pre-registration is required.
