Interested in a career in medicine, but don’t think you fit the “pre-med” description? Are you curious or confused about the road to applying to medical school? Do you want to hear from medical students who come from diverse backgrounds?

The Diversity Symposium is designed to support applicants who may identify as “non-traditional”. This includes students with difficult financial or family situations, students with non-science degrees, rural students, Indigenous students, students with children, and “mature” students. Come find out why medicine could be a great fit for you and learn more about the paths to get there!
