2018 UNBC-CNC Teaching & Learning Conference

Date:
Wednesday, August 29, 2018 (All day)
Campus:
Prince George

For the past sixteen years UNBC has held a late summer event dedicated to teaching and learning. What started as a one day workshop in 2002 is now a two day event that regularly attracts over 100 participants. In 2007 the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) moved from a small room in the Administration Building to a stand-alone Centre in the Teaching and Learning Building. In 2009 we formally began to collaborate with the College of New Caledonia and again the conference took on a new and exciting form.

Over the years, we’ve evolved as teachers and students, learned from each other, and often tried new things in our teaching practices. This year marks the 16th anniversary of the Teaching and Learning Conference.

This year’s conference sessions are offered over 3 days:

  • Pre-conference Sessions: Tuesday, August 28
  • Wednesday, August 29 @ UNBC
  • Thursday, August 30 @ CNC
