Join Canadian sports broadcasting personality Michael Landsberg as the next guest of President's Speakers Series.

The popular host of Canada’s longest-running TV sports talk show, Off The Record, Landsberg talks frankly about mental health and more specifically, his own struggle with depression -- and urges others to do the same.

He uses the social media hashtag #sicknotweak to dispel the stigma that is still too often associated with mental illness.

In his 2012 critically acclaimed documentary Darkness and Hope: Depression, Sports and Me, he spoke with prominent Canadian and international athletes about their mental health challenges.

Landsberg's talk is free and open to all students, faculty and staff of the UNBC community. His keynote address is sure to entertain, inspire and stimulate important discussions.

His talk will be shown live via a closed-circuit broadcast in the Bentley Centre for overflow capacity. Please bring a non-perishable food item or a financial contribution for the NUGSS Food Bank.
