Cumulative Impacts to Wildlife and Habitat Conservation in an Era of Environmental Change

Megan Leslie, President & CEO of World Wildlife Fund-Canada, will be giving a free, public keynote address on Thursday January 18 at 7:00 in the Canfor Theatre at UNBC. This event will also be available online via livestream: https://www.unbc.ca/livestream

Drawing from her diverse experience working on issues related to environment and health from both inside and outside government, Leslie will reflect on the intersections between conservation and cumulative impacts management, and the important role of integration in understanding and addressing these complex challenges. Leslie will provide insight into emerging directions in wildlife and habitat conservation being led by WWF-Canada, the largest international conservation organization in the country.

This event is being hosted by the UNBC Cumulative Impacts Research Consortium as part of the 2018 CIRC Forum, with support from the Environment, Community, Health Observatory Network (ECHO) and the Pacific Institute for Climate Solutions (PICS).
