Prince George was host to one of Canada's largest youth sporting events and cultural festivals, with many sports and special events held at UNBC during the two weeks of the 2015 Canada Winter Games.
Official Sporting Venue: Archery
The Charles Jago Northern Sport Centre was an official venue for five sports during the Games, including Archery.
The four season Fitness, Sport and Recreation Facility was built to grow, encourage, and accommodate all sports in the northern area at various age levels regardless of the climate. This fascinating facility is the result of a unique partnership between the City of Prince George and the University of Northern British Columbia, which recognizes the importance of linking sport, education, and the community.
