Students, staff, faculty, alumni and grade 11 and 12 students were invited to take part in a leadership development opportunity as part of UNBC's 25th Anniversary. They joined Blake Fly, a highly engaging speaker, as he used stories and music to touch on key issues of university life. Professionally, Blake spent nearly a decade living, learning and leading in university residences as a Residence Advisor, Don and then in his first career as a Residence Manager of one of the country’s largest student buildings. Blake is known for his creative approach to community building, and emphasizes the need for university students to be involved in their campus to get the most of their university experience.
In addition to an evening keynote presentation open to the entire UNBC community, two afternoon workshops were held - one for UNBC students and one for UNBC staff and faculty
