Join the Nechako Watershed Roundtable to celebrate the Nechako River on BC Rivers Day
Celebrate BC Rivers Day and the Nechako River at Riverside Park in Vanderhoof, BC with the Nechako Watershed Roundtable! This event features many activities for both youth and all ages, including a free community BBQ at noon!
Schedule:
Youth activities between 10 AM and 2 PM:
- River health
- River culture
- River safety
- Hatchery tours
- Learn to fish program
Canoe & Paddling Events
- 10 AM Paddle from Highway 27 bridge
- 1 PM Paddle and kayak races
