Ceremony Information

For Family and Friends

Due to the necessary response to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) the Convocation Ceremonies previously scheduled for May 29, 2020 have been adapted to a virtual ceremony on June 26, 2020. We are also committed to holding a traditional face-to-face ceremony for the Class of 2020 once we have received the green light to safely hold events under the guidance of federal and provincial health agencies. You can read the most recent statement issued by UNBC’s Interim President here: Convocation Update

As family and friends of UNBC graduates we recognize how your continued support contributes to your graduate’s success. Please join the Class of 2020 in celebrating their achievements during our virtual ceremony.

Globally, the Class of 2020 will experience one of the most unique Convocation and commencement seasons ever. Every institution has their own constraints, capacities, and strengths to get us through this difficult time. UNBC’s virtual ceremony is something special and positive amidst a trying time, and will allow our grads an experience that is more personal in nature than the traditional ceremony. Having you join in this ceremony and the celebration of your grad’s accomplishments will be a meaningful addition for them.

This ceremony will be held on June 26, 2020. We will update this page with a link to the webpage once it becomes available.

We would encourage you to also join us in congratulating our 2020 graduates on social media using #UNBCgrad2020.
