S-100: Basic Fire Suppression and Safety (Class/Field)

​This two-day workshop introduces participants to the basic techniques, processes and procedures required for entry level Type 2 contract wildland firefighting. Its purpose is to equip potential firefighters with an awareness of the safety hazards associated with wildfires and how to safely work the fireline. This workshop will conclude with a written exam.
