Our UNBC JDC West team competed at the annual JDC West competition from January 12th to the 14th, which was held in Calgary this year. We are pleased to announce that our team placed 1st in the "Most Charity Dollars" category! UNBC JDC West raised a grand total of $126,788, with dollars raised going toward the Canadian Cancer Society, Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation, and other local charities. 

We would also like to acknowledge the UNBC JDC West Debate team, who took home 2nd place at the competition! Congratulations to team members: Ben Walls, Adam Barlow, Kaleena Werbecky, and Josh Nycholat. Well done! 

We would like to thank all of the volunteers, organizers, and everyone who makes the JDC West competition possible. It is such a valuable experience for business students and we are so glad we were able to participate! Congratulations to all of the schools on an exceptional year! See you in 2019.
