The First Nations Centre at UNBC offers comprehensive services for Aboriginal students, as well as academic and cultural support for all UNBC students. The Centre offers a peaceful, culturally sensitive environment where students can learn, study, socialize and relax. With a Visiting Elders program, weekly Talking Circles, and a variety of workshops, the centre offers a tangible link to First Nations traditions, identity and history.
The space offers a unique selection of books in their Native resource library, a small fleet of computers, as well as operates the Peer Support Network and Northern Advancement Program.
