Carrier Sekani Family Services and the University of Northern British Columbia are looking for a forward-thinking leader with strong communication, management, and organizational skills to lead a research project surrounding resiliency-based suicide prevention. This project builds on previous suicide research focused on youth and adults completed by the team to extend this strategy to promote mental wellness and suicide prevention among older adults. Having a strong background in research and the ability to lead a team, work with community groups, and manage research projects will be essential for the success of this position. This position will report to Dr. Travis Holyk, Executive Director of Research, Primary Care and Strategic Services at Carrier Sekani Family Services and Dr. Henry Harder, Dr. Donald B. Rix BC Leadership Chair for Aboriginal Environmental Health Chair at UNBC
