Liberal Education
UNBC aspires to offer a liberal education. UNBC hopes to empower its students with a broad knowledge as well as transferable skills. Our students will have a strong sense of values, ethics, and engagement with their communities and the important issues in those communities. Educational and research programs and courses such as science, mathematics, social science, and the arts and humanities are augmented with the experiences of working with Northerners and Northern BC cultures.
