1/2 Marathon Training

Are you ready to run? This training program will prepare you for a 21.1km run by combining two group training runs each week with "take home" workouts. Race preparation, including the importance of nutrition, stretching, an proper warm-ups and cool-downs, will also be covered. No previous 1/2 marathon or road race experience is required, but participants must be able to run 10km, and must have been running regularly for at least the past 6 months. Target Race : YMCA Road Race - June 6, 2010.
