The Natural Resources and Environmental Graduate Program is primarily
concerned with "People and The Environment". The NRES Graduate Program
houses four degrees: PhD NRES, MA NRES, MSc NRES, and the MNRES
(Master of Natural Resources and Environmental Studies). All of these
degrees are built on an integrative suite of core courses. The MA NRES
(with streams in Geography, Environmental Studies, and Tourism) and MSc
NRES (with streams in Biology, Environmental Science, Forestry,
Geography, and Recreational Reource Management) encourage students to
acquire disciplinary expertise in an interdisciplinary context. . |

The deadline for applying for September entrance to the MA NRES, MSc NRES, MNRES, and PhD NRES degrees is February 15th, 2010.

The 2010 NRESI Poster Session and Annual Lecture (March 18th) will feature Dr. Bram Noble (University of Saskatchewan) who will speak on Cummulative Effects. |
