High Resolution Images

Since September of 2002, all photos taken by the Office of Communications have been shot and catalogued digitally. We have more than 50,000 high-resolution digital photographs available for use by the media. Please scroll through the gallery at the bottom left of this page and contact the communications officer if you would like a high-resolution image or to ask about other images available in our inventory.

Video Footage of UNBC

UNBC’s Office of Communications maintains a repository of broadcast-quality video footage depicting the University campus, teaching and research, UNBC athletic events, major news announcements, and scenes around Northern BC. Please contact the communications officer to discuss availability and access to footage.


Television Feed

(Indoors, next to Security and Tim Hortons)

Media can access video live from UNBC through the Telus NewsRoute service. The box is located beside Telus Student Services Street, which is one of the most picturesque parts of the UNBC campus. Transmit your own footage or contact Communications to provide footage or conduct interviews. Contact the Telus TOC in Vancouver for info about how the feed works at 604-663-5439 or contact the communications officer.


News Conference Locations

The Prince George campus provides a number of excellent facilities for media events. Most locations feature natural light, spectacular architecture, excellent power availability, on-campus audio-visual services, live television transmission capabilities, and food and beverage provision. If you are planning on visiting campus to work on a story, please notify the communications officer.
