• The Department now has a new Minor in Statistics.

• Applied Math Minor. The Applied Math Minor has been discontinued and will be removed from the Calendar.

• Statistics. MATH 242-3 and MATH 342-3 have been replaced by MATH 240-3 (Basic Statistics). All requirements for either MATH 242-3 or MATH 342-3 will be replaced by MATH 240-3 except for the Environmental Engineering Major which will require MATH 371-3.

  Students registering in MATH 240 should choose a lab section that is appropriate for their area of study.

• Differential Equations. MATH 333-3 (Partial Differential Equations) and MATH 334-3 (Ordinary Differential Equations) have been replaced by MATH 336-3 )Intermediate Differential Equations).

  All degree requirements for either MATH 333-3 and/or MATH 334-3 will be replaced by a MATH 336-3 requirement.

• Upper Division Statistics. Students wishing to take MATH 372-3 who have MATH 340-3 but not MATH 371-3 should see Dr Kevin Keen or the Academic Advisor to be signed into the course.
