• "Are they learning what I'm teaching?" by Lyn Benn and Jennifer Hyndman, 1:00--2:30 on Thursday March 9 in 6-205.

• The Math Student Society, under Mr. Phat Tran's coordination, have successfully organized the Mathematics and Physical Sciences Symposium (March 2-4, 2006). There were lectures on Mathematics, Physics, and Forestry.

• Mathematics student Jeff Hnybida has received one of the top scholarships in Canada - a $4000 Millennium Excellence Award. Jeff is majoring in Mathematics and has close to an A+ average. (2006)

• One of our students, Julian Buck, won the Silver Medal Award in 2004, as well as two NSERC USRA awards (to do research).
