Brief Biography of Dr. Hyndman
Dr. Hyndman received her Ph.D. and M.A. in mathematics from the University
of Colorado and her BMath with a minor in dance from the University of
Waterloo. She has lectured at international conferences and published in
several areas of universal algebra. Her current areas of research are
natural duality theory and quasi-equational theory. She also has a strong
interest in the area of mathematical education and has coordinated several
mathematics and science conferences for high school students. Dr. Hyndman
has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Mathematical
Society and is currently Education Co-editor of the CMS Notes.
