Computer Account and Password
All UNBC employees receive a UNBC computer and e-mail account. For new employees, computer accounts are
generated automatically when their hiring information is entered into UNBC’s
administrative computing system.
To receive their account, the new employee should contact
the IT Support Centre at (250) 960-5321 or at Room 8-265. Please make an appointment as some account
configuration may be required prior to a password being issued.
Faculty and staff may receive the following account services:

UNBC E-mail account in the format “username@unbc.ca”.

Domain account on the central server.

Home storage directory on the central server (H: drive).

Access to shared storage on the central server (G: drive).

Terminal Services (TSS) allowing account access while off
campus.

Access to a computer that has been assigned to them by
their department.
- Access to administrative computing systems.
