March 17   

Green University Centre Open House - 11:00am-3:00pm
Canfor Winter Garden

Opening remarks by President Iwama and the Green University Centre Staff at 11:00 am. Come and meet the staff, learn about the sustainable features of the renovation and enjoy a delicious, bicycle blended, green smoothie prepared by Students for a Green University.

Public Exhibit: UNBC’s Leadership in Renewable Energy - 11:30am-3:00pm

Join us for a screening of the documentary Powerful and a Q & A with the filmmaker, David Chernushenko. David is an entrepreneur, educator, public speaker, film producer, and  Ottawa city councilor. He works to promote prosperous communities and healthy livelihoods. He is a member of Ottawa's city council and has served as Vice Chairman of Canada's National Roundtable on the Environment and the Economy.

Join UNBC grads and local business leaders at this networking dinner, where UNBC Chancellor and CEO of Day4 Energy, Dr. John MacDonald, will share his thoughts on how renewable energy will define our future.
