The University of Northern British Columbia offers a wide range of scholarships, bursaries and awards to recognize outstanding students and to provide financial assistance to help meet educational costs. Student Responsibilities
Scholarships, bursaries and awards are made possible through the financial support of donors, including almuni, faculty, staff, community members, corporations and others. In return students are asked to:
- Provide accurate and sufficient information to demonstrate that they meet the criteria for the award(s) they wish to be considered for
- Show appreciation for any award they receive by thanking the donor in writing
Completed on-lne applications
Completed on-line applications will be accepted up until 4:00 pm on the day of the published deadlines. In the event the deadline falls on a weekend or holiday, applications will be accepted until 4:00 pm the following business day.
Supporting Documentation
Some awards require additional documentation such as letters of reference or verification of volunteer/community service and leadership. It is the student's responsibility to be aware of the criteria listed for individual awards.
Students wishing to be considered for an award which requires supporting documentation must submit such documentation to the Awards and Financial Aid Office prior to the published deadlines. Documentation may be submitted via mail, fax or email to the address below:
