Chris Hadfield is the pioneer of many firsts in Canadian space history. In 1995, he became the first Canadian to use the Canadarm and the first Canadian to board a Russian spacecraft during his mission to the Russian space station. In 2001, he became the first Canadian to walk in space, and in March 2013 took command of the International Space Station, again, a first for a Canadian.

10th Annual: April 5, 2014 at the Prince George Civic Centre

This premier event is held annually to honour Dr. Bob Ewert, the first medical specialist in Prince George, and is a fundraiser for the Northern Medical Programs Trust. The NMPT supports students today who will improve the quality of health care in northern, rural communities tomorrow.
