The QRRC will hold its annual Open House on Saturday 30th September 2017.

You are warmly invited to join us for a series of presentations by researchers active at the centre this year, including scientists from UNBC, UBC and the University of Lethbridge who have been investigating the environmental impacts of the Mount Polley tailings released into Quesnel Lake.

Other talks of interest will cover insights relating to sedimentation in Cariboo Lake (University of Toronto), and the challenges of counting returning sockeye (Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada).

Events are due to begin at 10 am, and will continue until after lunchtime.
