Celebrate the legacy of social activist and social worker Bridget Moran and support UNBC and the Northern Branch of the BC Association of Social Workers as we raise funds to establish an endowed UNBC Bridget Moran Bursary in Social Work with a fun St. Patrick’s Day themed event.

The event will feature a three-course Irish meal, entertainment and the presentation of the 2017 Bridget Moran Award.

Please consider donating ticket(s) to help UNBC Social Work students attend the event, or make a donation to the bursary. A charitable receipt will be provided to you. 

Bridget Moran was a prominent social activist, social worker, writer and mentor who brought her concerns forward into the political realm. This bursary honours Bridget's life work and her profession.

Itinerary

• 5:30 pm - doors open
• 6:15 pm - 3 course Irish themed dinner
• 7:00 pm - award presentations and Alumni speaker
• 8:30 pm - wrap up
