The English / Environmental and Sustainability Studies joint major equips students with communication skills and knowledge of environmental issues, regulations and policies.

The major prepares students to have a positive influence on the environment through written and other creative forms of expression.

This degree will be of particular interest to students who wish to pursue a career in environmental writing, public communication, science writing and/or journalism.

The minimum requirement for completion of this degree is 120 credit hours.
