Community Development Trust

Up to $5000 is available for tuition and texts for laid off forestry workers, independent owner/operators included.
 
Training assistance is available to unemployed, under employed, or self employed workers who have recently been working in the forest industry. You must be ineligible for EI.  
 
Workplace Training for Innovation Program
The program is designed to provide eligible employers with funding for employee training in order to: Improve productivity, Support the introduction of new technology, machinery/
equipment or work processes, Enhance international competitiveness, Introduce innovative training and workplace strategies to increase the long term competiveness of the organization and its workforce.
