Dr. Raymond Cox 
 

 
Biographic Information

Prior to joining the University of Northern British Columbia, Dr. Cox was an Administration Manager with the Bank of Montreal and taught at Michigan State University, Saginaw Valley State University, Oakland University, University of Memphis, Central Michigan University, and the University of Ontario Institute of Technology.
 
Professor Cox has authored four books and over one hundred articles in journals such as Journal of Finance, Financial Management, Review of Financial Economics, Abacus, Review of Futures Markets, Journal of Economics, Research in Finance, Financial Review, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Journal of Risk Finance, and Review of Economics and Statistics. Dr. Cox is Editor of the Journal of Risk and Financial Management and serves on the editorial board of Competitiveness Review, Business Quest, and International Journal of Commerce and Management.



Teaching and Research Interests

Dr. Cox's major research interests include corporate finance, investments and the superstardom theory.
