Alex Ng is an accomplished and
passionate teacher and researcher having started at UNBC in 1999. He completed his Doctorate in Business
Administration at
Nova Southeastern
University,
Florida
in 2006. He has taught finance and
international business to undergraduates and MBA students, and he was nominated
for UNBC Teaching Award for three years. Alex’s research interests are in Corporate and International Finance. He has published papers on: mergers and acquisitions,
initial public offerings, Chinese privatization and sustainability in journals
like Canadian Journal of Administrative
Sciences,
Pacific
Basin Finance, and Journal of International Finance and
Economics. Moreover, he has won
three nationally competitive SSHRC grants, as well, as federal government
funding.
