As part of our casual pool of employees available on an on-call basis offering front line service to patrons, you may be called in to assist during peak periods, vacation or sick leave coverage.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- facilitating patron inquiries and/or interaction through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions that are professional, courteous and service oriented;
- setting up library accounts, handling transactions, assisting with reserve materials, charging and discharging materials, applying library policies & procedures;
- using the Integrated Library Systems (ILS) and library equipment, involving basic troubleshooting.
