As a percentage of the student population, there are more aboriginal students at UNBC than any other university in BC. The First Nations Centre provides social and academic support to help make a successful transition to university.

- Artisans' Craft Fair - Saturday,
October 28 and Sunday October 29 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday
and 4:00 pm on Sunday. Over 200 tables will be located in the Winter
Garden, the Bentley Centre and the Administration Building. Call

- NORTHWORKS! 2007 - at CNC on March 13,
2007 and at UNBC on March 14, 2007 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Employers
will be speaking with students about career choices in their fields of

Where Are They Now?
- Jenny Kennedy-Pannett (BA Political
Science '05) is a Program Officer with Service Canada and is also
pursuing a master's degree in Political Science at Simon Fraser
University.
- Ryan Penny (BSc Biology '04) is currently enrolled in the Medical Laboratory Science Program at BCIT in Burnaby.
- Doris Dreyer (BSc Environmental
Planning '01 and MA International Studies '04) is the Yukon Community
Stewardship Program Coordinator with the Yukon Fish and Wildlife
Management Board.
- Michael Collis (BSc Wildlife Biology '02) is a constable with the RCMP in Fort St. James.
