UNBC Men’s Soccer Program
“Our goal is to facilitate the personal development and higher
education of talented student athletes through their active
participation in a competitive athletic environment. The UNBC Men’s
soccer program is dedicated to providing its student athletes with
opportunities to experience the valuable lessons of self-discipline,
competition, leadership, teamwork and sportsmanship both on and off the
field. This program will strive to reflect a model of excellence.”
Sonny Pawar is a “B-Provincial” certified soccer coach. He played five years in Canada West soccer while he was attending the University of Alberta and the University of Calgary. Sonny graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education from the U of Alberta and a Bachelor of Education from U of Calgary. He is currently employed with School District 57 in Prince George.
Sonny continues to play in the local senior soccer league and is an active member of their organizing committee.
