Stuart Lake
The UNBC Anthropology Program and the Tl'azt'en First Nation are pleased to offer an archaeology field school during the summer of 2009, subject to sufficient enrollment.
This 15-credit (full semester) field school takes place at Stuart Lake, an ancestral homeland of the Tl'azt'en people, northwest of Ft. St. James, British Columbia. This is one of the most scenic regions in the province, with plentiful wildlife and history. It is not unusual for field school participants to see wildlife such as black and grizzly bears, deer, moose, eagles and much more.
