Teaching and Learning Centre

The Teaching and Learning Centre

At about 92,000 square feet, the Teaching and Learning Centre is one of the largest buildings on the campus.

Its atrium faces south, providing a spectacular view of the campus, the city of Prince George, and the mountains beyond.  Opened in Spring 2007, it houses classrooms, teaching labs, academic offices, research space, and students areas for a large number of UNBC programs and is connected to the rest of the campus through the Teaching Laboratory.

The distance between the Atrium floor to the top of the butterfly roof is nearly 21 metres - the tallest on campus. The five-storey columns in the Atrium are unique. They normally span just three storeys.
